How to quit your job... in style!
Karen E. Miller first performed with the Tecumseh Players at the age of 10. As an adult, she spent eight years touring around the United States and Europe with Covenant Players, a Christian repertory theatre company. Since moving back to her hometown of Tecumseh, she has been an active member of the Players for more than 15 years. Karen was last seen as Miss Marple in July's production of 'Too Many Detectives in the Murder Mansion.'. She currently resides in Adrian and is a Head Start teacher.
Piper is an eleventh grader at Tecumseh High School, and this is her sixth show with the Tecumseh Players. She is so glad she has been able to work with such an amazing group of people. Thank you to Niki for being a great director (and aunt), and to her family for reading lines with her. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Charlotte is a 10 year old attending Blissfield Elementary. She has experience with musicals, and she has done TYT's Aristocats and Blissfield Youth Theatre's The Taming of Katy Lou, as well as various summer camps for TYT. She just completed working with the Tecumseh Players on the 'Too Many Detectives at the Murder Mansion' show last month.
Rick Kroth is a retired military veteran who is excited to be in his first performance for the Tecumseh Players and getting to work with such fantastic and wonderful actors!
Mary Ann Stock is living her dream playing Harriet in I Quit. Most recently she joined the Tecumseh Players as Detective Kane in 'Too Many Detectives at the Murder Mansion' and 2 years ago as Mental in 'Superhero Sanitarium'. This marked a return to her theater roots after many years, having participated in the Dearborn Heights Civic Theater in roles such as Doris Walker in 'Miracle on 34th Street', in the Oakland University theater program including Stella in 'The Collection' in addition to countless performances in high school and middle school (and her daily life). She would like to thank her family for supporting her in this zany hobby; running lines, letting her skip out on family meal prep and just generally being a bunch of good eggs.
Henry is a 15 year old who attends Blissfield Highschool. He was in the TYT production of Chicago: Teen Edition and is interested in being in more.
Malakai Maxwell has been performing since his freshman year of high school, he has done 4 shows overall and plans to do more in the future. He's really looking forward to performing this show with everyone and he wants to give thanks to his amazing director.
A lifelong lover of theater, Hannah performed in numerous high school productions including Almost, Maine, Mary Poppins, The Addams Family, The Butler Did It, I Love a Piano, and Radium Girls. Her passion continued through community theater in shows like Spamalot, The Actor’s Nightmare, and Moby Dick: The Musical.
As Farmer Johnson, Batman and now Mr. Cavatelli, George has been part of all three one-act plays this summer. He lives in Tecumseh with his wife of almost 49 years, Mary Beth. He sings in the First Presbyterian Church choir, Chiaroscuro Men's Chorus, TCA Big Band and Tecumseh Community Chorus. He enjoys photography, nature, and travel. He has appeared in performances at The Croswell, Toledo Opera and with the Tecumseh Players. Thanks to the Tecumseh Players for another opportunity to entertain an audience.

Since then she has brought her passion for performance to stages across southeast Michigan. She has appeared in productions with The TYT, The Croswell Opera House, and The Tecumseh Players. In addition to theater, Perpetua has also featured in local film projects. She is deeply grateful for the continued support from her family and friends, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
The opportunity to work with his wife and children in this play and the previous performances in the park has been a life highlight. A family that acts together are very overly dramatic. This is Thomas’ third performance with the Tecumseh Players.
Last thing I remember, I'm commiserating with some crazy lady about my crummy job at this hotel bar. Now, thanks to my new best friend Gayle, I'm going to quit my job and live my dream of being a famous actor, beginning here, in the Avocado room of the Radisson on scenic Route 50! Hi Mom!
This is Derrel Kent's first role with the Tecumseh Players. He was a part of the WTCA Radio Show in the Tecumseh Bicentennial's finale celebration last summer. Before moving to Tecumseh a couple of years ago with his wife Sharon, he was active in the theatre for many years in Northern Michigan. He has always specialized in comedic character roles and felt this production of 'I Quit' with the Tecumseh Players would be a good fit. He has enjoyed working with the cast and director of I Quit and hopes this is the beginning of many productions with the Tecumseh Players.
Niki is back with her third Tecumseh Players production and loving every second of it. When she’s not here, she’s teaching English and Drama at Sand Creek High School—basically directing teenagers all year long, but with fewer costumes and more essays. This is her first time officially directing, though she’s been unofficially bossy her whole life. She can’t wait for you to see this ridiculously talented cast strut their stuff. Big thanks to her family for supporting her theatre habit… even when it takes over the calendar, the kitchen table, and family room.
